National Small Business Week recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. To celebrate, the Chamber is organizing several free events to highlight the impact of small business owners in our area and provide them with valuable information and resources. Events include:
Monday, May 2
Social Media for Small Businesses - 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce, 100 Lincoln Way East - FREEAnita Crawford of Springboard Entertainment will talk you through how to determine where to find your target customers and reach out to them effectively through social media so you see results.
Marketing Your Small Business: 4-5 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce, 100 Lincoln Way East - FREE
Social media is a great way to reach customers, but there are other marketing options that should be on your radar as well. In this hour, Crawford will focus on must-have strategies for your marketing plan and how to determine where to spend your marketing dollars.

Cinco de Mayo Regional Fiesta Mixer: 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Conference Center at Shippensburg University, 500 Newburg Road, Shippensburg - FREEThis is your chance to network with over 500 individuals from more than 350 companies! Join us for this popular, annual mixer.
Friday, May 6
Leadercast 2016: Architects of Tomorrow: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Shippensburg University’s Tuscarora Room, 1871 Old Main Drive, Shippensburg - $99Leadercast is the largest one-day leadership event in the world featuring global leaders discussing what it means to be a visionary leader. Broadcast live from Atlanta, you can watch Leaderscast speakers like Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, right here in our area thanks to Leadership Franklin County Advanced.
