As co-founder and CEO Penn's Youth Initiative, Rebecca’s career in education began with earning a Master of Science degree at Shippensburg University, then working as a public-school teacher and volleyball coach. Her passion for youth wellness and future success sparked her interest in optimal health for youth through risk-avoidance based relationship education, launching her on a meaningful journey. For 11 years, Rebecca has taught programming through non-profit work serving both public and private schools. Today she applies her education background, leadership skills, and grants management experience to the growth of Penn's Youth Initiative, an educational non-profit that carries both a state-wide focus on partnerships and funding endeavors, and a local network serving youth with vital relationship education and risk avoidance learning opportunities and trainings.
