JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, review and inspect findings to determine the source of problem.
- Recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
- Coordinate problem resolution with management or other personnel to expedite repairs.
- Program, integrate, perform first level test, operate, troubleshoot to a higher level, and repair/replace associated equipment and systems comprised of numerous subsystems (Card readers, PIRs, Cameras, Client Workstations)
- Maintain records of performance reports

- Familiar with installation and maintenance of integrated access control systems comprised of access control, IP video, and intercom
- Must be able to work in the Tri-State area (PA, MD, WV). Chambersburg area preferred.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Mechanical ability required for installation and servicing of electronic security equipment.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interface with external customers in person, via telephone and email.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong experience in Windows, MS Office Suite, Acrobat.
- Has developed a full understanding of all AllCom and industry standard safety regulations OSHA 10 required. (OSHA 30 desired)
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, best practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, best practices and procedures in the construction and/or electrical installation field.
- Relies on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish tasks.
- Presents a professional image and conduct to the customer and the general public in accordance with established AllCom standards
- Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to climb ladders up to 20 feet and work on lifts up to 40 feet. (with another man – 2 man rule)
- Must be able to lift or carry loads up to 50 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation (minimum small truck) to carry replacement parts and tools). A small van may be provided.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Two to four years of technical education, training or related work experience.
- Manufacturer certifications in Lenel (required), AMAG, Identiv, AXIS, HanWha, Exacqvision desired.
- Minimum 5 years of previous field service with repair/maintenance/installation of electronic security equipment required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to secure and maintain Department of Defense Secret Clearance
