Keystone Dental Care (KDC) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Clinical Supervisor to join our team full-time. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a collaborative and efficient dental practice environment.

The Dental Clinical Supervisor manages a variety of clinical and operational activities, either directly or through support staff, under the supervision of the Director of Practice Services. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who is committed to excellence, team development, and exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and workflow

  • Supervise and support dental clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient practice performance

  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, and onboarding

  • Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Promote a positive, productive, and patient-focused work environment

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and staff development

  • Address operational challenges, employee concerns, and patient service issues in a professional manner

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Dental Clinical Supervisor directly supervises assigned clinical staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in employee recruitment, interviewing, and hiring

  • Training and developing staff members

  • Planning, assigning, and directing work activities

  • Conducting performance evaluations

  • Recommending employee recognition and corrective action in consultation with the Director of Practice Services

  • Addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Current PA Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) license required

  • Previous dental office supervisory experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, providers, and patients

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Current PA Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) License required

  • Pennsylvania Dental Radiology Certification required

  • Current CPR certification required
