Franklin County residents will benefit from a new round of grants awarded by the Franklin County Community Foundation (FCCF), an affiliate of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC). This year’s Advisory Committee directed grants totaling $91,277 to support local nonprofits that are meeting pressing needs, creating opportunities and building a stronger future for the region.
“FCCF is committed to improving the quality of life for everyone in Franklin County,” said Teresa Beckner, committee chair. “These grants reflect the trust placed in us by donors and the hard work of local nonprofits that are making a difference every day.”
2025 FCCF Grant Recipients:
Founded in 1987, FCCF was created to build permanent endowments to benefit residents of Franklin County. Today, the regional community foundation manages 53 funds with assets totaling $20,274,835. Gifts to FCCF are more than one-time contributions. They help build a lasting source of support that will benefit the community for generations to come. By joining together in collective giving, donors ensure that local nonprofits have the resources to address today’s needs while preparing for tomorrow’s challenges. Community members can make a gift online at www.tfec.org/fcfcommunityfund.
As one of TFEC’s regional foundations, FCCF is guided by an advisory committee of local leaders who bring insight into community needs and opportunities. TFEC’s staff works closely with each regional foundation to provide seamless operations while advisory committees focus on strengthening fundraising and grantmaking for the benefit of their communities.
