Description
18th Century life wasn't always work. How did people express themselves through art, music, poetry, dance and literature? Join us in the tavern for an interactive experience to discover the artistic side of history. Visitors will be encouraged to read scenes from period plays with our team, recite poetry, learn a rural country dance, and hear simple music. This program is perfect for visitors of all ages, and no prior acting/singing/dancing experience is required!
No RSVP required, our Saturday programs are free thanks to the Thomas G. & Nancy H. Burkey Fund, a charitable fund of the Franklin County Community Foundation, a regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC).
