Geology Rocks! Your Backyard Geology

Presented by Buttonwood Nature Center in partnership with Franklin Co. Rock & Mineral Club. Fun and education combine in geologist Jeri Jones's popular annual geology series. Jones will focus on locations showcasing the best geology in the area, with fascinating stories about our geologic history. The program highlights the types of rocks found in the local region, and will include mineral resources, geologic hazards and some of the new geologic discoveries in the area.
