Cabin Fever Music Fest

The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is currently hard at work preparing for the non-profit organization’s popular Cabin Fever Music Fest, set for Saturday, March 1 and hosted at The Orchards Restaurant in Chambersburg.

Featuring five bands in one night at one venue, the event last year attracted nearly 300 guests and resulted in attendees and business sponsors raising a total of more than $12,000 for the Shelter’s ongoing adoption programs and support services for homeless animals.
On March 1, the organization’s largest fundraiser each year will again be hosted by The Orchards Restaurant and banquet facility in Chambersburg and will feature a variety of music from the 1960s to the present day, including country classics and dance music. Each of five bands participating are donating their time and talent for the event: The Jill Fulton Band, Soleil, The Negley Brothers, Cameron Molloy & The Drivin’ Wheel and Club Medics. Sound and lighting will be handled by All Sound Pro LLC, Chambersburg.
Said Cameron Schooley, CVAS board president, “Beyond the incredible response we get from residents of our local community, our business sponsors truly inspire us with their generous support! Last year, many of them noted that they couldn’t wait to again sponsor Cabin Fever Music Fest in 2025. Those of us with the Shelter, greatly value that type of commitment from our local businesses.”
Already sponsoring the upcoming 2025 event are Wolter Advanced Dental Care PC; Smith Elliott Kearns (SEK); Diloreto, Cosentino & Bolinger PC and Cumberland Valley Tree Service (Silver Sponsors), and Cable Eye Associates LLC and Kyner’s Auto Sales, Inc. (Bronze Sponsors). It’s expected based on last year’s response from local businesses that sponsorships will fill quickly.
A popular 50/50 drawing as well as several large gift baskets will also be raffled to raise additional funds, with all money going directly to care of the shelter’s animals seeking a forever home.
Doors open at 4:00 pm with music starting promptly at 5:00 pm. Tickets are just $10 in advance and if not sold out prior to the event date, will be $12 at the door.
Tables can be reserved for groups of eight plus a limited food menu from The Orchards and a full cash bar are available.
Tickets are on sale now at the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter at 5051 Letterkenny Road West in Chambersburg or at the CVAS Thrift Store at 66 South Main Street downtown.
There are five levels of sponsor packages currently available ranging from any amount up to $1,500.
Upper tier packages include tickets for eight attendees as well as the opportunity to display a business banner at the venue and to have company information placed at each table.
