Drew's Hope grief and loss support program

The Spring 2014  Drew's Hope grief support program for children, teens and their families that are grieving the death of a loved one will start on Tues., Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. with a new family orientation at the Luhrs Elementary School at Shippensburg University  The first of our 7 program sessions will then be held on Tues., Jan. 28 from 6-8 p.m. and will continue to meet every other Tues. through April 22 (with a snow make up day built in on April 29. . This free program includes dinner and separate support groups for children, teens and adults. Children participate in fun activity-based groups that include craft and game activities designed to help them process their grief and positively remember their loved one. Adult groups include education about grief and grieving children and discussion. Teen groups are a mixture of activities, education and discussion. Please let the DMTF help your family on the difficult grief journey. It's not easy, but it's necessary, especially for the youngest grievers.
