DESCRIPTION:CHAMBERSBURG   The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter will hold their 26th annual Dog Walk and Contests from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday\, Oct.3\, at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds. \n\n \n\nThe event will be held rain or shine and registration begins at 10 a.m.\, with the walk starting at 11.\n\n \n\nParticipants are asked to raise money by getting sponsors for the dog walk. \n\n \n\nAll walkers will receive a participation bag. Anyone who raises $25 will get a t-shirt. People who raise $75 or more will get a walk down the prize tables.    \n\n \n\nSponsor sheets may be picked up at the shelter or downloaded at cvas-pets.org. All monies collected will be due on the day of the walk.\n\n \n\nThe canine contests will begin after the dog walk. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: best trick\, best costume\, best kisser\, best tail-wagger and most obedient.
