Led by Institute faculty member and accomplished nature photographer\, Dave Graff\, the focus is on nature photography\, concentrating on scenics\, macro-photography (close-ups)\, and telephoto photography of birds. Classroom session on Thursday evening introduces techniques and concepts in capturing nature's most magical moments. Saturday's field trip to a local park allows students to practice what they've learned\, with guidance from Graff. In addition to technical skills\, Graff will demonstrate how naturalist skills allow you to see things that most people miss. SLR or mirrorless cameras with interchangeable lenses are recommended.
