Description
A variety of workshops, demonstrations, activities, and entertainment throughout the day, including a performance by the Waynesboro Children’s Theatre Troupe. This year’s theme spotlights STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) with exciting ways to explore the world of physics and how it affects our everyday lives.
The featured guest entertainer, Arjun Shah from Mobile Ed Productions, presents Forces and Motion, a program demonstrating basic physics with fun experiments using eggs and glasses, balloons, a falling cup, spinning plates and a bicycle wheel.
Kids will explore gravity, centripetal force, Sir Isaac Newton’s three laws of motion, and more with lively demonstrations including the classic tablecloth pull and even a rocket launch! Specialty “playshops” tie in the theme with all sorts of fun activities. Youth Fest is the best-kept FUN SECRET in Waynesboro!
