Description
What is a ramble?
It is a tour–a leisurely trip around about, here and there, to places you may have always wanted to visit but not had the time. So, SPRING INTO HISTORY. Ramble the trails of Franklin County, trek back to early settlements of the Germans and Scots Irish, frontier forts, secret hiding places of the Underground Railroad, Civil War sites, and hallowed grounds. Explore fire museums, discover the history of industry, and learn about the industrious of a young nation.
The Heritage Center in Chambersburg will be one of the sites participating in the ramble, so drop on by! The Heritage Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Address: 100 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
