Touring sites associated with the Sept. 19, 1862 Battle of Iuka. Here a Union force under General William Rosecrans defeated the advance of Confederates General Sterling Price. After lunch we will tour sites in historic Corinth associated with the siege and battle. Sites to visit:

Today we will visit Brice’s Crossroads and Tupelo battle sites following the trail of Nathan Bedford Forrest in one of his greatest victories and most disastrous defeats (Tupelo).
