Description
Sadly, stories of violence in our workplaces, schools, etc. have become all too common these days. As a leader, are there steps you can take to reduce the chance of this type of incident happening among your staff? Leadership Franklin County Advanced is partnering with Summit Health & Keystone Health to bring you this half day workshop giving you tools you can take to identify and lessen the chance of a workplace conflict escalating to violence.
Presenters:
Jon Williams, MEd., CFPS, CHEP
Williams is the Director of Safety and Emergency Preparedness at Chambersburg Hospital and serves as and Adjunct Faculty - Fire Science Technology for the Harrisburg Area Community College, Deputy Team Leader for the South Central Task Force Incident Management Team - Blue and Local Level Fire Instructor at Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. When not at work Williams enjoys coaching little league baseball.
Kaylena Martin
Martin is the Community Liaison for Keystone Health and is imbedded with the Waynesboro, Greencastle and Washington Township to assist law enforcement and other first responders responding to calls involving mental health issues. The Community Liaison program was created under Franklin County's Crisis Intervention Team through a grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. Martin also provides training for other law enforcement agencies in the area.
