Description
Presented by Laurie Collins, Garden and Pollinator Conservation Expert
The program will review the life cycle of the butterfly, components for creating and maintaining a healthy habitat or garden, and why certain gardening practices are required to ensure a butterfly population. Laurie Collins has been gardening for pollinators for the past 21 years and maintains a Monarch Way Station as well as a certified Pollinator Habitat. She hand-raises monarch and black swallowtail butterflies. Her own photographs will illustrate the talk. For more information visit www.renfrewinstitute.org or call 717-762-0373.
