Together We Can Make A Difference!
The Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA) is pleased to announce their Annual Auction and Fashion Show that will to be held on Sunday, November 2. The event will take place at Green Grove Gardens Event Center, 1032 Buchanan Trail East, Greencastle, PA 17225.
The event begins at 12:00 Noon with Light Refreshments, the opening of Silent Auction tables and a Raffle which includes a specially selected array items. The Silent Auction includes an outstanding variety of over 120 items, including golf packages, jewelry, handbags, art work, children's items and a large display of gift certificates!
Beginning at 1:30 pm, attendees will be called to their seats to participate in a Live Auction. The live auction includes items valued between $200 - $1500. A 7 day stay at a beautiful Myrtle Beach Vacation Home, a Progressive Dinner for Eight, Spa Package, a Beautiful Area Rug from Essis & Sons and much more! Tickets will be on sale for $20.00, with a recommendation to purchase a Table for Eight for $160.00.
"This event has become the CVBCA’s main fundraiser during the year and has helped to support many local women and men that are diagnosed with breast cancer,"
said CVBCA President Sharon Brosious. She also said, "Last year we were able to personally take care of over #140 newly diagnosed women and provide mammography services for #113 others. Eight of those women were diagnosed through our free program and we were able to get them the necessary treatment for breast cancer. As always, the CVBCA promises to be good stewards of all funds that are raised and the funds will stay local."
The Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance is a faith based ministry whose mission is to provide current and updated education and information in the areas of breast cancer and preventative health care to women and men of any age, race, religion and socioeconomic level in
Franklin County and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania. We also provide faith-based support to those whose lives have been devastated or touched by the disease of breast cancer.
