6th Annual Chefs' Walk
Description
Cumberland Valley School of Music presents the 6th Annual Chefs’ Walk, June 7, 2014, 4:00-7:00pm along Alexander Avenue in Chambersburg. This year’s event features seven dining stations from local chefs and restaurateurs who will be preparing and serving their unique culinary delights.
The menu themes include
Chef Roger Tappen: “Mardi Gras”,
Chef Dave Munson: “Mediterranean”,
Chef Grayson Bowman: “Pacific Northwest”,
Chef Melissa Young and Karin Fitz (Chestnut Landing at Menno Haven): “Tour of Napa Valley”,
Restaurateur Tom Boock (The Cottage): “Wings and Ribs”,
Anne Schoenhofen (The Butcher Shoppe): “French Bistro”
Robin Volpe, Senior Accounts Manager for Deli Brands of America based in Baltimore, Maryland. Her menu theme is “New York Deli”.
The most unique component of this event is the fact that all of the chefs and restaurateurs live in the Alexander Avenue neighborhood and donate their time and talents for the CVSM fundraiser as do the musicians.
Marty Boscolo, owner of Mikie’s Ice Cream and Green Cow Gift Shop in Greencastle, will be serving ice cream.
Pennsylvania wineries and beer distributors will be sampling products.
